We at Happy Cat have been in business for 16 years. We started in the lower level of our home and when that was successful we expanded to an additional building about 100 feet away. We live in a rural area with 1 1/2 acres set in the Colorado foothills in south Fort Collins.
Happy Cat Retreat – Cat Boardingfoothills in the background and each cat condo has a private window with a carpeted ledge that fits securely underneath. Here they can watch the birds and other animals (or people) working or playing.
We take caring for your kitties very seriously. As our logo states, we treat your kitty like family. A variety of music is played during the day and late evening to give a feeling of home away from home. We listen to you the customer for feeding instructions and each cat is fed according to the instructions you give us. Each cat is treated to a three complimentary playtime periods daily. An enclosed, separate outdoor play area is also attached to each condo, with their own cat door. At nighttime all cats are indoors and the doors are closed.

Stan is a curator for Cat Lovers News. For the last 16 years he co-owns with his wife, Happy Cat Retreat, a cat boarding facility. He loves animals and raises parrots in his spare time.
